Jeanne Varaldi is a visual artist based in Paris. Her practice draws inspiration from landscape forms, maps, site histories, and the stories of local inhabitants. Walking and conversation fuel her creative process as she brings a poetic lens to territories, revealing hidden narratives, paths, and invisible threads. Her work spans various media, including painting, textile installation, and drawing.
She creates large-scale, site-specific works on commission— in 2024 for the City of Paris at the Carreau du Temple, in 2023 under the "1 Building, 1 Artwork" program. Her work has been featured across Paris and Barcelona - Galerie Bertrand Grimont, Porte B, and Homesession Barcelona.

Her hybrid practice bridges the visual arts with teaching, writing, and curating public conversations. This is exemplified by the "Drawing the City" talk series led for Sciences Po's Urban School and the Maison des Arts et de la Création, exploring "Arts and Urbanism" in 2023 and "Arts, Territories, and the Environment" in 2024. Since 2024, she has been an active voice in the cultural urbanism movement.
